Edward L. Bathe, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the age of 77. Loving husband of Delores B. “Dee” Bathe; beloved son of the late Martin and Lillian Bathe; devoted father of Jeff (Cindy) Bathe and Laura (Doug Piazza) Bathe; cherished grandfather of Bradley (Jessica) Bathe, Melanie (Greg) Ilgenfritz, and Stephanie Schneider; treasured great-grandfather of Wren Bathe and Lilly Ilgenfritz; dear brother of Marty (the late Ursula) Bathe, Viola (the late Richard) Moeller, Bill (Kathy) Bathe, and the late Betty Kelly. Edward is also survived by beloved yorkie, Ms. Tiffany.
Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Bathe Electric after more than 47 years as an electrical contractor. He loved golfing, and going to the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball games. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, and in past years bowling and going to Gulf Shores. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Ed was my brother but also a great friend.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Uncle Eddie was a great man and I always remember going to his gulf shores condos! So many wondering memories there that I can thank Eddie and Dee for! Sending lots of prayers and hugs especially during this holiday season!

Dee you know what ed meant to me and jan the yearly trips togulf shores the card games with us and don and joan and then bill and Karen the guys always won dee could throw cards farther than anybody though. our golf games and then playoffs he will be really missed
