Earl A. Wallis
September 3, 1922 — January 29, 2019
Earl Albert Wallis, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Betty Jean Wallis; cherished son of the late Albert and Josephine Wallis (nee Karl); devoted father of Jana (Gary) Haydon, Jill (Jerry) Wiechens, Gail Wallis, Gary (Brenda) Wallis, David (Ana) Wallis, and daughter-in-law Regina Wallis; loving grandfather and great-grandfather of numerous grandchildren.
Earl is also preceded in death by his son Michael Wallis and sister Eleanor Smith.
Earl proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a faithful member Our Savior Lutheran Church. Earl liked fishing and dancing, and while serving in the military, he especially enjoyed dancing with the ladies at the USO clubs. Earl also enjoyed his career with Maloney Electric and McDonell Douglas. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Memorials may be made in Earl’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
