Dorthea Sueann Launius (nee Schenk), of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the age of 67. Loving wife of the late James Launius; beloved daughter of the late William and Corinne Schenk; devoted mother of Dan (Sarah) Launius and Steve (Kristen) Launius; cherished grandmother of Makayla, Mason, Madison, Monroe, Myra, Gabe, Dylan, Isabella, and Sammy.
Dorthea enjoyed making handy crafts and working around the house. She liked gardening, antiquing, and working on home improvements. Dorthea was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Dorthea's name to the American Diabetes Association.
