Dorothy Ubben

Dorothy Ubben of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday, February 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard “Pete” Ubben; her parents, Albert and Ann Sutter; and two sisters, Joan Deters and Margie Faron.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Cathy Ubben and Sandy (Tom) Renaud; her grandchildren, Erin (Derek) Gagnon, Amanda (Dan) Fowler, T.J. (Danielle) Renaud, Drew (Maria) Renaud, Annie Renaud, Abby Renaud, and Joe Ubben; her great-grandchildren, Zakk, Charlie, Drake, Lily, Lucy, Skylar, Izzy, Venessa, Bennett, Wyatt, and Maverick; and her siblings, Marvin (Katie) Sutter, Marie Sinden, Evelyn Quargnenti, Pat (Leroy) Dilger, and Carol Lay,

Dorothy was strong in her faith and was a parishioner at Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon. She retired from Famous-Barr where she enjoyed a successful career as a Human Resources Manager. Birdwatching was one of Dorothy’s favorite activities as well as watching golf on television, but what Dorothy loved most of all was taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with them over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
