Dorothy I. Schulte

Dorothy Irene Schulte (nee Robbins) of St. Charles, MO, passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2017, at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late John Schulte; beloved daughter of the late Fred and Irene Robbins; devoted mother of Cheri (Ed) Bishop, and Penny (Mike) McNown; cherished grandmother of Michelle, Michael, Molly, and Katie; treasured great-grandmother of Ashley, Mackenzie, Tyler, Haley, Riley, and Aubrey. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela J. Leffeler; and her brother, Lowell T. Robbins.

Dorothy worked for Southwestern Bell for 30 years, and was a supervisor and trainer for service reps. She was a member of the Rainbow Girls, the Telephone Pioneers Organization, and the Red Hat Society. She also belonged to various card clubs, and was a member of Bogey Hills Country Club for 40 year. Dorothy was a lifetime member of the St. Charles Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, Stephen Minister, Presbyterian Women, and on the Prayer Network. She loved playing cards, going to lunch with friends, and trips to the ocean. What Dorothy loved the most was spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
