Dorothy “Dot” G. Wilhelm (nee: Moellering) of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 90 on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Corrine Moellering; and eleven siblings.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, George Wilhelm Jr. of 72 years; her children, David G.(Patricia) Wilhelm Sr., Dean R. Wilhelm, Denis J.(Deborah) Wilhelm and Kay A. (Abraham) Mathews; her grandchildren, Jodi Bryan, Tyson (Colleen) Wilhelm, Elizabeth (Travis) Kleckner, David (Laura) Wilhelm Jr., Blake Wilhelm, Caprice (James) Gronemyer, Kevin Hayden, Jr.; twelve great-grandchildren; and her sister, Irene Shaul.
Dot was a strong and loving mother who kept a tidy and clean home. She loved playing card with her family and friends and often played games with her grandchildren, especially whiffle ball. Dot loved to be active through walking, she was a huge Cardinal Baseball fan, and she enjoyed keeping up with the latest celebrity gossip. Dot was a cafeteria aid at St. Charles West High School for over twenty years and her family will always remember that she had a great sense of humor and was a very talented baker who always had a dessert with every meal. She was a wonderful wife, mom and gram who is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
