Doreen will be remembered wearing a smile and thinking of others. She was an ex-sister-in-law to me. Wished I had seen her more in past years. Even though she passed too young, I am sure she and Ralph are smiling and hugging today ❤️

I’ll always remember our tag team teaching in the diabetes education program at SJHW for several years. She engaged our patients in cheerful, fun ways and made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Prayers for all she left behind as she is gone from our sight. May you be comforted by the great love of God Almighty and feel is warm, tender embrace in the days ahead.

candle 3You are missed already. We are in St. Augustine but my heart is with your friends and family there. Knowing that you had a very personal relationship with our Savior and you are no longer in pain helps to ease my heart. See you in Paradise some sweet day. I love you my friend of 30 plus years ❤️

Doreen was full of compassion. Like Jesus.
Doreen was friendly and caring. Like Jesus.
Doreen and I worked together in the ICU at St Joseph Hospital West. She and I supported patients and their families as we watch them take off from earth. Just like now, we can’t quite see our future destination, but we believe it is more glorious than our finite eyes can imagine. God, a very present help in times of need, is providing us with His comfort. Love to this beloved family!

She was the closest thing to Jesus I have ever encountered. Compassion, love, laughter, all smiles even in the face of adversity. No one I have every known was stronger or more selfless than Doreen. God had a plan for her, she accomplished his plan and

now she is at rest. Thank you for her time with us God

candle 8Doreen was a dear dear lady I had the absolute pleasure of knowing for a short period of time. She cared so much about anyone she ever knew. While fighting her own battle with this dreaded disease, she found the time and strength to write letters, send gifts and cookies, send her support and care to me and my colleagues at her daughter’s workplace. She loved all of us with her whole heart. She will always be a special person in my heart. I love you Doreen. Rest In Peace. My condolences to Heather and all of her family.

candle 1I’m in St Louis to show my love to my dear friend Doreen Lewis & her family! We lived next door to each other for 10 years while raising our small children. She was always there for me & our family.
Doreen is not the type of person you ever forget. She made such an impression on this world because she lived life with her whole heart. ❤️
That was never more evident than the love she had for her children. I missed the chance to say good bye to her but that’s ok. I know I’ll see her again in heaven. There we can reminisce about all the crazy fun things we did & how much we supported each other when no one was looking. 💞
Once again Doreen you taught me something in a big way, life is precious, don’t take a single day for granted. I’m so glad God chose you & Heather & Michael to be our next door neighbors during those young formative years when it mattered the most. Your life has made everyone who knew you better! Our goodbye is only temporary 🙏🕊
