Donald is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Brian) Bunch; his siblings, Margaret Burns, William (Viola) Vogt, and Emma (Bob) Billing; and he was a loving uncle, cousin, brother, brother-in-law, and friend to many.
Donald retired from Boeing after a successful 38 year career as an aeronautical engineer. He was involved with his community as a member of St. Charles American Legion Post 312 and active in his faith as both a member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Charles and a parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church. He was also an avid bowler who loved that he accomplished bowling that perfect 300 game. Donald was always quick with a good joke and his easygoing nature made it so that people always liked being around him. Going out and playing cards with his friends was something that Donald always looked forward to. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
