Dolores J. Henner of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Monday, August 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Daniel French; her son, Michael French; and her parents, Harold and Genevieve McClintock.
Dolores is survived by her second husband, Dale Henner of twenty seven years; her children, Pat (Marly) French, Dana (Evan Goldstein) French and Jackie (Mike) Maginn; her stepchildren, Kim (Rick) Kindler, Lisa (Mike) Thelen, and Jill (Mike) Schlueter; her grandchildren, Allison, Lizzy, Leo, Luke, Lily, Randy, Kyle, Brittany, Amanda, and Chase; her great-grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsay, Randy, Kendra, Gregory, and Carmella; and her cherished golden retriever.
Dolores was a sweet, loving woman who was always family-oriented and supportive with a love to help and guide others. She had a positive, accepting view of everyone she met. She loved dinners out, old fashions and socializing with friends. Dolores enjoyed decorating her home, traveling to see family, and going to catch a show at the Muny. She was a loyal Rams fan, following the team with Dale and friends to several different cities. Dolores was an avid fan of the Cardinals and Blues. She also enjoyed her social times at Lombardo’s and Spiro’s Restaurants.
Dolores dedicated many years to the Hazelwood School District as a teacher, principal and finally as the Director of Elementary Education where she developed the Early Childhood Program. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
