Diane Courtin Walker of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the age of 71. Born to Franklin Courtin and Rachel Courtin (née Kemp); loving wife of Herschell Walker (deceased); cherished mother of Norman (Christine) Mars, Nathan (Hanae) Mars, and Nicole (James) Adams; proud grandmother of Alyssa, Michael, Morgan, Aidan, Avani, and Kai; beloved Meemaw to Mina and London.
Diane was a graduate of the Pattonville HS class of 1965. She served her community and supported her family as a police dispatcher for University City until her retirement. She raised and loved 3 children who gave her the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she so adored. Diane was incredibly proud of the family she built and loved attending her grandchildren’s events and hearing about their ever-changing lives. In 1988, Diane found the love of her life in Herschell Walker, who preceded her in death. They were passionate animal lovers and travelers who loved to visit the Southwest and found great joy in their retirement years together.
Diane is survived by her sister, Rebecca Courtin-Sherk, her 3 kids, 6 grandkids, 2 great grandkids. She will be missed by her family and friends.
