Debra Rudroff of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 65 on Saturday, May 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Vera Schroeder; and her siblings, David Schroeder and Janet Kellough.

She is survived by her long-time partner, Kevin Nichols; her children, Anna (Clint) Kisting, Therese (Artem) Melnykov, Carl (Jamie O’Brien) Rudroff, and Richard Rudroff; her granddaughter, Claire Kisting; her siblings, Larry (Sandi) Schroeder, Linda (Mike) Schaefer, Bob (Bev Lofton) Schroeder, Diane (Jim) Treacy, and Carol (Corky) Moffat; and her brother-in-law, Paul Kellough.

Debbie will be remembered by her family and friends as a truly extraordinary woman, generous to a fault, with a silly sense of humor and a quick, warm smile. Debbie lived her life focused on enjoying the people around her: her children, her partner, her family, her co-workers, her patients, and often the random stranger she met walking her dogs or waiting in line at the store. Her effusive joy in living and vibrant zest for life drew people seeking friendship, fun, solace, support, and a delicious glass of wine. Although physically petite, she displayed a gigantic strength of character in the face of life’s challenges, always maintaining a positive outlook on life no matter what difficulties came her way. Her warm hugs, beautiful smile, and vivacious laughter will be sorely missed.

I love you Debbie. My little sister and best friend. I miss our daily phone conversations and your silly giggle.
Each day is painful without you. We talked about all the things we would do now that you retired
You brought so much joy to family and friend and sometimes strangers who wished they were your friend
I was so blessed to have such a wonderful sister and best friend.

My heart is breaking for you. Debbie was the most kind, patient and positive person. She became like a daughter to our mother for whom she cared for 17+ years. My children are sad too because they know how special Debbie was and how well she took care of their Momo. We will forever be thankful that we knew Debbie. Our prayers are with you now and always ~ Martha Meyer Rawlins and family

My friend, that I truly loved.Last time I saw you invited me to your home. I brought lunch and we sat and had a wonderful time. You gave me a plant and it lost its leaves. I was thinking I need to call Debbie. You were in my heart and on my mind. I wish I would’ve listened but you know how life takes you in so many directions. Plant has started to gain leaves again. I will always treasure this plant in remembrance of you. I love you Debbie Until we meet again. Rest my sister. I’ll see you after while.Marquetta Young
