David William Emrick

David William Emrick of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, at the age of 49. Loving husband of Vicki Emrick; cherished son of William S. and Joyce V. Emrick; devoted father of Jenna Emrick, Emily Emrick, Devon Emrick, and Taylor Emrick; dear brother of Donna (Kevin) Dabney, Debi (Dan) Winston, Darlene (Scott) Dabney, Diane (Matt) Rapplean, and Dan (Katie) Emrick.  David was a fun uncle to many nieces and nephews who knew him as the “strongest man alive”.

David proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Gulf War. David and Vicki were married for almost 20 years and together have 4 wonderful and beautiful children. David was a happy golf hacker and enjoyed yearly family vacations in Branson.    David enjoyed his Sunday evenings playing softball on the family team “The Tribe”.  David has a wealth of friends due to his charismatic personality and was never at a loss for words when telling a story. Everyone who knew him was aware that one phone call to him meant help was at your door.  Most of all, David loved his family.

David will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Thursday, March 7. His family would like to gather with everyone at the professional building at the cemetery and then proceed together.
