David Ray Turner

Turner, David Ray, of St. Peters, MO, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the age of 66. Loving husband of Brenda Turner (nee: Driver); beloved son of the late James Ray and DeeEtta Turner; devoted father of Benjamin (Cyndi) Turner, Jennifer Turner (Jim) Chapman, Melanie Turner (Dan) Pennington, and Heather Turner (Kris) Donegan; cherished grandfather of 15; dear brother of Ruth Turner (Carl Wayne) Greenfield and Becky Turner (John) McKernan.

David proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Technical Analyst for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing and retired after 47 years. David was a member of Harvester Church of the Nazarene, where he served as Sunday school teacher, board member and led in many other ministries. David loved God with all his heart and faithfully lived out the gospel in all areas of his life, at work, with his family and friends and even during his battle with cancer, he always looked for ways to love and serve others well. He loved southern gospel music, golf, and electronics. Mostly David loved being with his family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
