Darrell L. Wylie

Wylie, Darrell L., Jr., of St. Charles, MO, died on Friday, December 16, 2016, at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Mary "Marlene" Wylie (nee: Cooper); beloved son of the late Darrell Sr. and Evah Wylie (nee: Rogers); devoted father of Linda R. (Steve) Rueckert, Brenda K. (Brad) Douglas, Thomas P. (Carol) Wylie, Daniel J. (Paula) Wylie, and Cheryl A. Wylie; cherished grandfather of Ryan (Amanda) Rauh, Lauren (Josh) Rayens, Amie Wylie, Elizabeth (Matt) Roeder, Alicia Stahlschmidt, Rebecca Wylie, and Logan (Brittany) Bennett; treasured great-grandfather of eleven. Preceded in death by his two sons, Theodore Allen Wylie, and Timothy Bryan Wylie, and his brother, Gary R. Wylie.

Darrell proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He loved to travel with his wife and family. When Darrell was young he was a boxer in the Golden Gloves. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and coaching his kid’s sports. He was an avid fan of golf, both watching and playing. Darrell was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
