Cherryl Kierath

On Thursday, September 17, 2020, Cherryl Ann Kierath, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at the age of 53. Cherryl was born on August 29, 1967 in Troy, MO.  On October 24, 1986, she married Brian David Kierath. They raised four children: Ashley, Nicole ("Nikki"), Brian Jr. ("B.J."), and Brendan.  In addition to being a mother of four, she was also a "second mom" to countless others. Her warmth and perpetual smile put everyone at ease and made all feel welcome.  Cherryl was an optimist by nature and always chose to find the good in any situation.  When not spending time with family, Cherryl and Brian enjoyed golf-carting around Cottleville to see friends.

Cherryl was preceded in death by her father and mother, A.L. and Donna (nee Kramer) Sutton. She is survived by her husband Brian, her four children, Ashley (Christopher) Blaesing, Nicole (Phillip) Donnelly, Brian Jr., and Brendan, and two grandchildren Sydney Donnelly and Edwin Blaesing.  She is also survived by her sister Theresa Schulte and mother-in-law Thersea Kierath, as well as several siblings-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She worked for United Health Group for the last 30 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cherryl’s honor to Harvester Lion’s Club Foundation.
