Charles Jefferson Shelton

CJ Shelton, of Troy, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the age of 62. Beloved son of the late Bob Shelton and the late Ruth Meisenheimer; dear brother of Terri (Terry) O'Brien-Piotrowicz and David K. (Lisa) Shelton; loving uncle of Michelle Anderson, Renee O'Brien, Kelly Shelton, Samantha Shelton; treasured great-uncle of Jack Shelton, Chloe Shelton, Lincoln Shelton, Timothy O'Brien, Matthew Anderson, Kayla Washington, Nicholas Washington; and cherished great-great uncle of Veralynn O'Brien.

CJ retired after many years as a supervisor for Air Products Company.  He was a hard worker and very passionate about anything he set out to do.  He loved hunting and was a member of the Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited.  He also looked forward to deer season and fishing in his spare time.  As an avid outdoorsman, CJ enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association.  He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
