Most of us at TWA called him Chuck and always looked up to him. We all worked with great people but Chuck stood out as a true Master Mechanic and leader. The world has enjoyed his presence and will always remember him. Rest In Peace and should God need someone to fix his airplane I am confident you will be the first he calls.
    Condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Chuck starting in 1966, back then Chuck was on midnight shift working on the famed Lockheed Contsellation over the years his advice. guidance and help working on TWA Aircraft was so valuable ,but his lessons he shared with me on how to work everyday with all the older mechanics I will never forget and have applied during my Carrier at the airlines . When Chuck spoke everyone would listen !! I will also miss his Big Smile and no nonsense nature .
He will be missed by his Airline family for sure !!

We were very sorry to hear the news of Charlie’s passing. Danette and I were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend time with Charlie and Lylah both at our wedding and more recently at the family reunion. We send our love and deepest condolences to the entire family.
