Catherine A. Prickett

May 16, 1930 — December 24, 2020

Catherine A. Prickett (Draper Maxwell), left this world December 24, 2020, to meet her husband for their first heavenly Christmas together.  Catherine was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri.  She became a teacher and retired from the Normandy School District, in St. Louis County, following years of commitment and service to the mission of literacy.  In retirement, she and her husband, Richard Prickett, traveled the country and world, putting together extensive albums to document each adventure.  She was a voracious reader, a seamstress and knitter, an avid card player, and a totally devoted and doting granny.  She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, her extended family, church community, and many friends.  Her family is grateful to the staff at The Villages of St. Peters, and to the heroic doctors, nurses, and medical professionals at Barnes Jewish St. Peters.  Graveside services will be private.  A memorial mass will be celebrated when it is safe to do so.  Donations to charities such as Feeding America would be greatly appreciated.
