Carol Greer of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 82 on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly sixty years, Paul Greer; her children, David (Donna) Greer and Steven (Debbye) Greer; her grandchildren, Brittany (Joe) Adams, Jami (Tim) Cush, Allison (Phillip) Greer, Tiffany (Tyler) Boothe, and James Greer; her great-grandchildren, Abrielle, Delilah, and Oliver; her sister-in-law, Loretta Clark; and her nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Jeanette Hennessey; and her siblings, James (Judy) Hennessey and Joan D. Richardson.

Carol was a great tap dancer who went to the Senior Olympics and loved going to the theater, especially the Muny, to catch a show. She and Paul were world travelers who treasured the adventures they had and the memories they made together, sometimes they even took their family on their trips. The most important things in Carol’s life were her family and friends with many of those friends she leaves behind being those she had known since elementary school. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Contributions in Carol’s name may be made to STAGES St. Louis.

Carol was a co-worker of mine. She was one of the sweetest most generous people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She never missed anyone’s birthday with a card and kind words. She brought smiles and laughter to her coworkers. Carol was one of a kind that will be missed dearly. We were truly blessed to know Carol. Our hearts go out to her family. Love, Laura and Gerry Parker

candle 1Mrs Greer was always wonderful and I have many fond memories. I can’t count how many Birthday and Holiday Cards she sent over the years. I loved when she sent Steve mini chocolate chip cookies at Boy Scouts of America’s Summer camp. And she always laughed and had a great sense of humor. As a kid Steve and I went to a few Muny Shows with her and Mr Greer, and that sparked an appreciation for live theater in me. I think it was a Rambler she drove us around in back in the 70’s, seems like we made a swing in the back out of seat belts. She was a perfect wife to Mr Greer, I always looked up to the way they worked together as a great team and loved each other. She will be missed by all, but her beautiful spirit will live on in her family and all our memories. I am especially very sorry to the family for your loss.
