Betty “Joan” Stearns

Betty “Joan” Stearns (nee Roper), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Loving wife of 66 years to George William Stearns; beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Floy Alma Roper; devoted mother of Scott (Karen) Stearns and Susan (Scott) Baker; cherished grandmother of Chris, Joe and Kelli Stearns, and Bryce Baker.

Joan was an avid jazz club member. She enjoyed spending her time playing bridge with her friends and traveling with her husband. Most of all, Joan loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Joan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
