Barbara Sharon Hembree, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at the age of 72. Loving wife of the late Stanley Hembree; beloved daughter of the late Earl Brown and Aleta Barth; devoted mother of John (Angela Stretch) Brown; dear sister of Diane Kennedy, Doug Barth, Eva (Lance) Loraine, Janine (Ron) Broyles, and Steve Church; sister-in-law of Candy Barth; cherished aunt of Juanita Kennedy, Melissa Kennedy, Matt Barth, Brittany Barth, Zach Loriane, Morgan Loriane, and her name sake Barbara Marler; many great-nephews and nieces, cousins and dear friends. Barbara is also preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Hembree, and brother, Phil Barth.

Barbara was a member of the Women's Auxiliary American Legion Post 313 and volunteered for many years. She enjoyed, fishing, hunting, playing bingo and spending time with her friends. Barbara loved to travel and go on vacations. She liked to shop and loved buying gifts for her loved ones. Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to American SIDS Institute.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.

    No words to express my deepest love for this woman who gave most of her life to all of us kids. We gave her a ride but she stayed on course and taught all of us so much. I will think of you often my dear sister auntie grandma Barb. I will miss you more than I can ever express. Love you always

      candle 3Barb and I went to Normandy high school together she was one of my best friends my other best friend was Cathy Stephens. She was such a strong woman and young person when she had all those responsibilities of taking care of her brothers and sisters I really admired her she just lived up on the Boulevard by my house but we didn’t see each other much which I wish we would have I’m sorry to your whole family may God keep you and you rest in peace, Peggy Christensen Hoeft

    John, I met your mom 45 years ago when we worked together. We had so much fun camping and sharing our families. She was the most remarkable woman I have ever known. Even through the worst of times, she kept a smile on her face and in her heart. Mike and I send our deepest condolences.

    candle 3My condolences go out to John Brown and his family Bob and I went to Normandy High School together and she was one of my best friends the other best friend is Cathy Stephens. We had a good time together and she was a very strong person who took care of her brothers and sisters and throughout her life she had a strong will to live and I’m sorry to hear of her passing.
