Anthony “Tony” Joseph Scorfina, of Ballwin, MO, passed away in an accident on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the age of 46. He was born on December 16, 1972 to Frank (Gwen) Scorfina, III, and the late Katherine (Bill) Rivers. Tony is also survived by his loving wife of 13 years Floravel "Bing" Castro Scorfina; his son Benjamin Vittorio Scorfina and stepson Kenneth Ray Shirrell, II; his brothers Frank Scorfina, IV, and John (Sarah Rhodes) Scorfina, and Thomas Scorfina; his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Tony is also preceded in death by his nephew, Vincent Anthony Scorfina; and stepmother, Linda Scorfina.
Tony attended St. Pius X elementary school. After graduating from Riverview Highschool. he continued his education at Deaconess College of Nursing where he received a bachelor’s degree of nursing on May 1988.
His natural gift was always serving people which exemplifies through mentoring and being a preceptor to many nurses, sharing the wisdom and experience that he gained over the years. He was very conscientious in serving his patients with dignity, respect, and true compassion.
Tony had a great sense of humor earning him the nickname “Bonehead” and “Jerry Boy.” He was also a great athlete earning him second place in the 1990 State Wrestling Championship. He was a master online stockbroker and Grill Master with a taste for adventure.
His legacy will impact his sons and generations to come.

American Heart Association.
