Annabelle “Ann” Stahr

Annabelle “Ann” Stahr (nee Hendrick), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the age of 82. Loving wife of the late Richard Stahr; beloved daughter of the late Viola Hendrick; devoted mother of Diana (Larry) Johnson, Jason Stahr, and Nicholas (Amber) Stahr; cherished grandmother of Shawn Johnson, Jerica (Ben) Beel, Zachary (Ellie) Stahr, Gabriel Stahr, and Mackenzie Stahr, and one great-grandson on the way; dear sister of Judy Hendrick. Ann is also preceded in death by her brothers, Lou Hendrick, Tom Hendrick, Paul Hendrick, Jim Hendrick, and sister, Cass Runyon.

Ann was married to her best friend, Richard for nearly 47 years. In those 47 years she was not only a wife but a homemaker to her family. Ann above anything loved her family. She was so proud of her children, grandchildren, and was so excited about her first great grandbaby due in June. She was especially proud of her title as Grammy and Mimi. Ann enjoyed gardening and grew the most beautiful flowers. Ann grew both roses and peonies. Her peonies flourished. She was a good cook and her family loved when she made her staple meal of Scotcharoos and clam dip. She also loved her four-legged friends, especially Jasmine her favorite dog. Annabelle was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Ann was a member of the St. Louis Zoo

Memorials may be made in Annabelle's name to St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness or American Cancer Society.
