Ann Therese Mettner

Mettner, Ann Therese, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church passed on September 9, 2021. Daughter of William and Anna Mettner, and survived by two sisters, Dolores Hormberg and Mary Ellen Holdenried and numerous nephews and nieces.
Ann Therese was a Sister of the Most Precious Blood of O’Fallon, Mo from 1955 to 1997. She was a teacher, principal, organist and choir director at many schools. She continued her ministry through music as an organist at St. Gianna’s Catholic Church, music appreciation with the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood and taught many children private music lessons. Her wishes are “Keep music in your heart.” Thank all who have touched my life!”
Her body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine. A memorial Mass will be held on September 18 at 11:00 AM at St. Gianna Catholic Church. Memorials may be made in Ann 's name to Masses Preferred.
