Albert “Al” Preli

Albert “Al” Joseph Preli, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 66 years to Joanne Preli; cherished son of the late Victor and Jennie Preli; devoted father of Victor (Ann) Preli, Frank (Judy) Preli, and Patty Colegrove; loving grandfather of Sally (Chris) Hawks, Mary (Alecia) Neske, Albert (Megan) Preli, Victoria Preli, Gina (Dennis) Avarette, Jennifer (Adam) Boshears, Nicholas Preli, Christine (Randy) Broockerd, Mallory Colegrove, Sandy Colegrove, and Jana Colegrove; and treasured great- grandfather of 11; dear brother of Marie (Tony) Favazza and the late Gerry Zimmerman. Al is preceded in death by Son In-Law, David Colegrove.

Al was a hardworking and dedicated man. He was a proud member of many years to Union Local 513. Al was a man of great faith and attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic church.

In his free time, Al enjoyed traveling and being outdoors, especially when he was fishing, hunting, and boating.  Overall, Al loved to spend time with his family. Al was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Al's name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
