John P. “Pat” McDonald

John P. “Pat” McDonald, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the age of 86. Loving husband of Norma McDonald; beloved son of the late John Thomas and Corrine McDonald; devoted father of Kathleen (Richard) Lohmann, John T. (Regina) McDonald, and Steven McDonald; cherished grandfather of five grandchildren and their spouses and eight great-grandchildren; dear brother of Maureen Stranz and Michael (Barbara) McDonald; and is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Pat is also preceded in death by his son, Terrence McDonald; siblings, Joyce Saunders, Genevieve Piant, Kenneth McDonald, and Barbara Gutman.

Pat proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Rotary. Pat was a cement mason since he was nineteen years old. He was a distinguished City Manager in several places in Missouri and Illinois and was recognized as City Manager of the Year. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed soccer and bowling when he was a young man. Pat was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Pat's name to Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Center.
