Jim was capable of fixing impossible mechanical problems. He was never judgmental, always accepting and chatted with all who crossed his path. Everyone felt welcome and comfortable in his presence and enjoyed his cheerful disposition. He was always eager to help anyone that needed assistance.

No job was too big or too small Jim was skilled in wood working, sketching, and doing intricate work on jewelry. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled model airplanes and was a Member of the Wright Flyers Model Airplane Club.

In retirement he enjoyed the escapades of his grandchildren and they chided him for being the best teller of the worst jokes.
