Happy New Year! With the start of 2018, there are many thoughts in my mind – most of which are about the new year. What do I want to add to my life? Change? Enhance? Make better?
For me, 2017 was a big year! I met with many families who needed my help. As a comfort dog, it is my duty to be there for someone when they’re sad, upset or feeling lonely. I help to bring a warmth to their heart and a smile to their face. In 2017, I also attended many events and went to many hospices, and nursing homes where I had a chance to meet several new faces. I am just as excited to see new faces as they are to see mine.
In 2018, I want to continue to help others through comfort. By meeting new people who need a hug or smile, I want to be there for them. This year, I’ll also be enhancing my training skills to become the best Comfort Dog around – you can visit me at the funeral homes to see what I’ve been up to!
