The full-time therapist, Kelly Karavousanos, LPC is a licensed professional counselor and a certified thanatologist, who has been serving the grieving community for over 8 years by means of individual and family therapy, support groups and well as community education.

“We saw a need in the community for families in transition after the death of a loved one,” Karavousanos said, “our society and communities are changing so quickly we sometimes need to lean on others to process the many changes that are taking place and how those changes impact our lives.”

The Center for Hope & Healing is part of the Baue Family of Services. For close to 30 years, Baue Funeral Homes, Crematory & Cemetery has been providing grief support services to families and now, through the Center, offers additional services for families and individuals facing any life transition. Baue Funeral Homes will continue to provide complimentary grief support classes for the families we serve and host remembrance programs for the community.
