Lois "Janie" Brandon

Lois “Janie” Brandon (nee Bell), of St. Louis, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Paul Brandon; cherished daughter of the late James and Dorothy Bell; devoted mother of Kelly Meadows, Rebecca (Gregory) Moritz, Paula (Dave) Stolle and the late Kevin Brandon; loving grandmother of Robin (John) Payeur, Justin (Cassie) Stolle, Julie (Tyler) Smith, Jacob Stolle, Isabelle Sgroi, and Connor Stolle; treasured great-grandmother of Abbigail, Aiden, Jace, Addison, Sadie, and Abelle; dear sister of Carolyn (Larry) Siegler and Timothy (Janice) Bell, the late James (Leslie survives) Bell, and the late Eugene (Gail survives) Bell.

Janie was a devoted wife and a hardworking woman who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was married to the love of her life, Paul for 49 years before his passing, and together they enjoyed traveling, taking road trips, and attending bowling tournaments. Family was especially important to Janie, and she cherished time spent with her loved ones and extended family, including visits to Tennessee. A lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan, Janie loved cheering on her team. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, going to the boat, and traveling to see lighthouses, which held a special place in her heart. Professionally, Janie worked as an Operations Specialist in the financial industry and was known for being a dedicated and hardworking employee. More than anything, Janie was warm, caring, and generous. She loved to feed others and took great joy in making everyone feel comfortable, welcome, and at home. She was a truly good and loving person who gave so much of herself to those around her. Janie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
