Donald Bunch, a dedicated Lineman for Union Electric/Ameren for 42 years, passed away on November 15, 2023. He was born in Saint Louis and served in the Navy for 4 years, spending time on a Navy Destroyer. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 
 
Known for his exceptional work ethic and dedication to his family, Donald was a true role model. He took great pride in his career as a Lineman, always ensuring that the electrical work he did was of the highest quality. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Donald's proudest achievement was his family. 
 
Donald did everything in his power to provide for his children and would go above and beyond to help them whenever they needed it. He had an unwavering commitment to their happiness and wellbeing. His love for his family knew no bounds. 
 
One of Donald's defining characteristics was his social nature. He had the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and had an infectious sense of humor. His warm smile could light up a room and bring joy to those around him. It was these qualities that made him not only approachable but also a beloved friend to many. 
 
When he wasn't working or spending time with loved ones, Donald enjoyed pursuing various hobbies and interests. Bowling, playing pool, and poker were among his favored pastimes. These activities allowed him to unwind and enjoy life outside of work. 
 
Donald leaves behind an extensive network of family and friends who were touched by his presence in their lives. He is survived by his devoted spouse Joyce Ann (Wife) Bunch; children Donald (Sue Rellergert) Bunch Jr., Mary (David) Shaw, Susan (Vincent) Ottersbach, Daniel (Brenda) Bunch; grandchildren Thomas Shaw, Kristen (Sean) Fox, Angela (Sean) Brown, Nicole (Ryne) Seddon, Ashley (Brandon) Barklage, Staci Condict, Diana (Jake) Hurych; and numerous great-grandchildren: Cameron Fox, Declan Brown, Iris Brown, Ada Seddon, Jonah Seddon, Carter Hurych, Lincoln Hurych, Adley Hurych, Bennett Hurych, Reid Hurych, Ruby Barklage, Farren Barklage, Bobby Barklage, Timothy Condict, Philp Condict, and Eleanor Condict. He is also survived by his brother Frank (Sue) Bosqui. 
 
In addition to his immediate family members listed above, Donald is remembered by his mother and stepfather Bertha (Daniel) Bosqui and father Frank Bunch. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Diana Bunch and three sisters: Elaine (Ron) Hensley, Joan Bunch, Cheryl Woomer. 
 
Donald Bunch will forever be cherished for his kindness, love for family and friends, and the impact he made on the lives of those around him. His legacy will live on through the memories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
