Wilma I. Prouhet

Prouhet, Wilma I. (nee: Mierzwik) of St. Peters, MO, died on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Ambrose L. Prouhet; beloved daughter of the late Henry and Ruby Mierzwik; devoted mother of Lydel Bertasz, David (Carol) Prouhet, Thomas Prouhet, Michael (Shari) Prouhet, and Robert Prouhet; cherished grandmother of Luis (Adrienne) Aybar, Andrew Aybar, Carmen (Bo) Adler, Paul Prouhet, Michael Prouhet, Jeremy (Tavia) Prouhet, Christina Prouhet, Rebecca Prouhet, and Rachael Prouhet; treasured great-grandmother of Solomon, Elliot, Nicole, Haley, Mikey, Charlie, Olivia, Henry, and Millie; dear sister of Doris Graham, Nell Hopson, and Marylynn McLean; dearest friend of Mitzi Simpson; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings Wayne, Johnny, and Janie.

Wilma loved ballroom dancing and traveling. She was very independent and a true matriarch. Mostly, Wilma loved being with her family, she was the glue that kept the family together. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
