William R. “Butch” Russell

William R. " Butch" Russell, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Kim Russell; cherished son of the late Everett G. Russell and Bessie H. Russell. Devoted father of William Richard (Jamie) Russell, Jr., Ryan (Michelle) Mitchell, Melissa Russell, Kyle (Kristina) Mitchell, and the late Shelby Marie Russell; loving grandfather of Dylan, Kayley, Allena, Kaiden, Olexa, Koen, Keaton, Nikolas, and Kirra; dear brother of Georgetta Newman; and beloved uncle.

Butch proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was one of the kindest, gentlest, loving men to know. His smile and the sound of his laughter will be remembered always. Butch was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and his entire life revolved around his family. Butch was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
