William P. “Bill” Henkel

Henkel, William P. “Bill”, of St. Charles, MO, died on Monday, December 5, 2016 at  the age of 88. He was the loving husband of Betty J. (nee Keck) Henkel, beloved son of the late Blaine and Lillian Henkel, devoted father of Robert (Caron) Henkel, William (Michelle) Henkel, Blaine Henkel, Kathleen Foust, Brian (Diane) Henkel, Blair (Michelle) Henkel, and Karen (Mike) Melton; cherished grandfather of 15, treasured great-grandfather of 19; dear brother of Blaine “Jinx” Henkel, Beverly Bowman, and Darlene Noah. He is preceded in death by his brothers, James Henkel, Thomas Henkel, Donald Henkel, and his sister, June Wallace. He was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.




Bill proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a union painter and a member of Local 1156 District Council # 2
