Volle, William M. "Bill", of St. Peters, MO, died on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at the age of 74. Loving husband of 31 years to Doris J. Volle (nee: Cox); beloved son of the late Mike and Jesse Volle; devoted father of Rick (Brenda) Rodewald, Shelly (Rick) Watkins, and Jason (Jennifer) Volle; cherished grandfather of Derick Rodewald, Matt (Jackie) Rodewald, Mariah (Adam) Meece, Zach Watkins, Mickayla Watkins, Breanna Watkins, Amera Watkins, Jacob Volle, and Jaycee Volle; dear brother of Judy (Ron) Osburn, Dale (Beth) Volle, Fran (Cecil) Heggemeier, and Jama Guethle; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Vicky K. Rodewald, brother Kenneth Volle, and in-laws Raymond and Fay Cox.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army and Army National Guard, he served during operation “Just Cause” in Panama and operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and retired after 26 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed yearly trips to Nashville, baseball games and enjoyed meeting people. But mostly Bill loved being with his family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
