Brink, William E.G. “Bill” of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 66 years to Wanda L. Brink; cherished son of the late William Charles and Estella Emma Brink; devoted father of William L.C. "Bill" (Judy) Brink and Donna (Dennis) Hall; loving grandfather of Erin (Mark) Bratkowski, William (Jennifer) Brink, Adam (Stephanie) Brink, Gabe (Emily) Hall, Robin (Thomas) Race, and David (Elizabeth "Lizzy") Brink; and treasured great-grandfather of Rhys, Rani, Nathaniel, Natalee, Tori, KelliAnne, Luke, Elliot, Liam, Ellison, Tommy, and Lincoln. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers Ed Brink and Lloyd Brink.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and helped to build Camp Hale in Colorado. After his service, Bill spent his career as a Machinist at Selb Blades and Maffitt Tool & Die before retiring as a supervisor with Emerson Electric. Bill and Wanda were charter members at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and devoted to their faith. Bill loved to keep active; in his younger years he was very good at baseball and in his later years enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He also was a self-taught carpenter who built three family homes. Bill loved traveling with his family, especially to their home in Nevada, telling stories and enjoyed the company of people. He never met a stranger and loved to entertain his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill was deeply loved, and will be immensely missed by all who knew him
