William "Bill" E. Colson, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of the late Rosemary Ruth Colson; cherished son of the late William and Leona Colson; devoted father of Steve (Pam) Colson, Deborah (Mike) Haeffner; loving grandfather of Andrew Colson, Ryan Colson, Chris (Cheryl) Haeffner, Katie (Jason) Weinkein; treasured great-grandfather of Douglas & Curtis Haeffner, Gracie & William Weinkein.
Bill proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy. He was a retired Fire Chief from the Berkley Fire Dept. Bill was a past member of the Lions Club, Boys Scout Leader, and he coached Little League. He enjoyed feeding wildlife (especially his deer). Most of all Bill loved his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Bill was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
