William “Bill” Edward Brown

January 3, 1943 — August 7, 2017

 William “Bill” Edward Brown, of St. Charles, Missouri passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Monday, August 7, 2017.

Loving husband of 52 years of Alice L. Brown (nee Medley); beloved son of the late Charles E. Brown and Charlotte Burks-Weatherford; devoted father of Scott (Cari) Brown, Teresa Brown, and Joshua (Rachel) Brown; cherished grandfather Kristen (Jake) Heinicke, Ashley Brown, Avery Brown, Josephine Brown, and Harrison Brown; treasured great-grandfather of Eli Heinicke, Billy Brown, and Brooke Heinicke; dear half-brother of Ranse Weatherford and Holly Rosplock; and dear uncle and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Charlie Brown, Ernie Brown and Barbie Alvey. Bill was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bill graduated from Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Bill worked in ramp service at TWA for 40 years and American Airlines for 5 years before retiring. He was a member of International Association of Machinists. Bill enjoyed working in the yard, tinkering around the house and working on cars with his sons. He was good with his hands and could fix almost anything. He had a passion for nature and greatly enjoyed his yearly fall road trips with his wife, sightseeing the beautiful colors of fall. He also enjoyed coaching baseball, football and softball. Bill was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. More than anything, Bill loved playing with his grandchildren.
