William Bill C. Wicks Sr.
December 10, 1938 — February 6, 2020
William Bill C. Wicks Sr., of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Beatrice “Bea” Yvonne Wicks; cherished son of the late Ira and Veda Wicks. Devoted father of Renee (Mark) Bockerstett, Sandra (Larry David) Walker, and William Wicks; loving grandfather of Kevin (Jennifer) Bockerstett, Rachel Walker, Lauren Bockerstett, Kelly Bockerstett, and Megan Walker; dear brother of Betty Jo Wicks and Doris (Jim) Johnson.
William proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of Jaycees and Telephone Pioneers. William enjoyed wood working. He also enjoyed electronics, bowling, square dancing, and was a softball coach. William loved visiting all 50 States with his wife and loved to collect things. He was also a life-long blood donor. William retired from AT&T. William was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in William's name to David C. Pratt Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital.
