Wayne Edward Prinster of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Vivian Susan Prinster; beloved son of the late Glennon Bernard and Rose Marie “Rosie” Prinster; devoted father of Wayne B. (Amy) Prinster and Jennifer Diebling; cherished grandfather of Madissen, Paige, Kennedy and Samuel Prinster, Lauren and Ava Diebling; dear brother of Linda (Delbert) Govero, Bruce (Donna) Prinster, Susan Prinster, Debra (Steve) Kersting, Craig (Margo) Prinster and the late Chris Prinster.
Wayne and Vivian were married in the fall of 1970 and shared 50 years together. Wayne was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He loved accounting and worked as an accountant for over 20 years. After losing his vision, Wayne continued his passion for accounting by assisting friends and family file their annual tax returns. He volunteered his time to Bureau of the Blind and during his younger years was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed listening to books on tape and spending time with his family. Wayne will be remembered for his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor which many enjoyed in his presence. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A private memorial mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on September 26 at 10:00 am.
