Ward “Buck” Newman

Ward “Buck” Newman of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Sarah Casey Newman; cherished son of the late Ward C. and Winifred Jean Newman; devoted father of Shannon Marwini (Matt) Crist; loving grandfather of  Maggie Joan Crist, Camryn Jane Crist, and Harper Lynn Crist; treasured father-in-law of Matthew Len Crist; adored “dog dad” to Max and Baxter; dear nephew of Emily Jane Hickson; and much-loved cousin of Nance (Chuck) White and Deb (Ron) Spencer.

Buck is also preceded in death by his former wife Joan Evans Newman.

Buck proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He worked for 24 years as a chief training specialist with Boeing. Buck was a Shriner and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He also enjoyed working with Greyhound rescue and shelter dog transport. Buck was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
