Walter Joseph Molitor

Molitor, Walter Joseph, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the age of 86. Loving husband of Martha J. Molitor; beloved son of the late Hubert and Isabelle “Dit” Molitor; devoted father of Theresa (Eric) Engholm, Randy Molitor, Sharon (Clint) Dickens, Daniel (Annette) Molitor; cherished grandfather of 8; treasured great-grandfather of 1; dear brother of

Ted Molitor, David (Nancy) Molitor, and Hubie (Bonnie) Molitor; and also beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and dear friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brother Arthur "Artie" Molitor.

Walter was a devout Catholic, he was a lifetime member of Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon Missouri. Walter was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 2269. He worked for Thro’s Clothing in O’Fallon, Missouri for over 20 years. Walter’s hobbies included pitching horse shoes and bowling. Walter was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was inducted in the St. Charles County Hall of Fame for baseball. Walter loved spending time with his brothers, he loved and adored his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
