Beloved wife of William Resimius for 69.5 years. Adored mother of Michael (Jessie) Resimius, Joseph Resimius, Ellen Jones, and Kerry (John) Groezinger.
Loving grandmother of Rachel (Jake) Dougherty, Ashly (Daniel) Kalz, Christopher (Erin) Resimius, Stephanie Resimius, Stephen (Maagen) Resimius, Korey (Elise) Groezinger, Brittany Jones, Christen Jones, and Jordan (Alpha) Groezinger.
Dear great-grandmother of Kiren, Kayden, Brady, Cash, Trace, Camdyn, Charlie, Henry, Sofia, Winnie, Norah, and Bowen.
Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Laura Cope and her siblings Vera Gentilini, Arnold Cope, Harold Cope, Marvin Cope, Bruce Cope, Mary Murphy, Bill Cope, and Howard Cope.
Sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend.
Virginia enjoyed traveling, cruises, gardening, reading, jig-saw puzzles, but most of all loved spending time with her husband, family, neighbors, and friends. She was a ray of “Sunshine” and touched the hearts of many. She will be dearly missed by all who surrounded her with love.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Grove Methodist Church, 23419 Bishops Lane, Truxton, MO 63381.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.
