Virginia “Ginny” Schaefering
January 19, 1935 — January 22, 2019
Virginia "Ginny" Schaefering of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 84 on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Schaefering; and her mother, Anna Alberta Juracek.
Virginia is survived by her children, Mark (Morton Singer) Schaefering, David (Cindy) Schaefering, Janice (Eric Boyd) Schaefering, and Sandra (Thomas Mitchell) Schaefering; and eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a woman of profound faith, taught Sunday School at Grace Lutheran Chapel to three-year-olds for twenty-seven years, and was most recently a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Contributions in Virginia’s memory can be made to Hope Lutheran Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
