Virginia Floden

Virginia Ann “Ginny” Floden, 85, of O’Fallon, Missouri died Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Daughter of the late Ray A. Cowan and Bertha (Lumley) Cowan. Loving wife of 65 years to Glen A. Floden, sister to Joyce Shupe of Holton, Kansas, Carol Tudhope of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Larry Cowan of Pensacola, Florida.

Ginny grew up on a farm in Kansas and immediately after graduation from high school, went to work with the Kansas State Income Tax Department in Topeka, Kansas. There she met a handsome airman named Glen while roller skating, whom she married. Ginny loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. She is survived by her son, Michael (Latona) Floden, two granddaughters, Melissa Young and Megan Dietel, one grandson, Jeremy (Lisa Paul) Floden, and three great-grandchildren, Mcartney Young, Glen W. Floden, and Kyla Paul-Gleason.

She was a member of the Greater St. Louis Airstream Caravan Club and the Order of the Eastern Star, Miriam Chapter 14.
