Sparks, Trudie of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the age of 82. Cherished daughter of the late William Wright and Dorothy Sullivan; devoted mother of Robert Lee Curtiss, Barbara Ann (Tom) Ryan, William Ray (Rhonda) Curtiss, and Beverly Jean (Steven) Coleman; loving grandmother of Michelle Lynn (John) Burton, Charles Gilbert (Ashley) Coleman, Marjorie Marie (Mike) Vogel, and Ashley Marie (Danie) Trail, and step-grandmother of Jason (Christy) Moore; treasured great-grandmother of Brody, Carson, Skylar, Evan, and Emma, and step-great-grandmother of Makenna, Jordan, and Zoey. Trudie is also survived by her treasured chihuahua, Bootsy.
Trudie’s pride and joy was her family, and she was their anchor and their rock. She had a deep and abiding love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and devoted herself to their happiness. In previous years, she enjoyed taking her young children camping and fishing, and as life progressed, in her spare moments she enjoyed crocheting, working in her flower garden, and enjoying movie time with her eldest son, Bob. She will be remembered as a strong, sweet, independent, loving, and caring soul to all who knew her.
