Tony Riles

December 12, 1951 — August 24, 2021

Tony Riles of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, Montreville Riles and Nellie Howard; his sister, Patty Cooper; and his grandparents, Tiger and Allie Brown.

Tony is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sandra Riles; his children, Christie Riles, Michael (Omewale Shabazz) Moore, Una Howard, Daniel Tiger Howard, D'Anthony (Ali) Howard, Alliesa Riles, and Alijah Riles; his bonus daughter, Shaina (Damon) White; and his siblings, Lorenzo Brown, Montroville Riles, Montroville Pearson, Linda Riles, Torran (Bobby) Hill, and Clarence Crenshaw Jr.

Tony spent a year in the Air Force and went to school in Dallas, TX to get his associate’s degree in Music. For the past three years, Tony went to South Eastern University for Ministerial Administration. He was a member of Church on the Rock for almost 15 years and served on the prayer ministry, baptismal ministry, creative arts, praise team, and he played the keyboard. Tony was recently in training to be a sponsor through Celebrate Recovery.

Tony worked for the post office for many years and enjoyed a successful career there. He enjoyed traveling and always looked forward to the next great vacation. Tony was an avid chess player. Above everything, Tony was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Tony’s name may be made to Celebrate Recovery in St. Peters.
