Tony E. Dotson, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Deanna Dotson; cherished son of the late Bluford and Dora Dotson; devoted father of Michael (Nina) Dotson and Brian (Sherry) Dotson; loving grandfather of Tara, Taylor, James, Traci, and Zachary; dear brother of Charles Dotson, Robert Dotson, and Shirley Schalk; and treasured brother-in-law of Linette Dotson and Goldie Dotson. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jackie Dotson, Marie Dotson, Rufus Dotson, Reuben Dotson, Courtney Jost, and Goldie Spurgeon.
Tony married the love of his life, Deanna, on April 9, 1966. They spent 50 wonderful years together. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He will be remembered by his family as a loving and humble man. He was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home and Christian Family Services.
