Theresa Mary Heuer

Theresa Mary Heuer (nee Farnese), of O’Fallon, MO, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the age of 91. Theresa passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Loving wife of the late Richard O Heuer; devoted mother of John E. (Patty) Hoskins, Paul F. Hoskins, Lila R. Dicker, and Stephanie R. (Dan) Hanneken; cherished grandmother of Bryan (Heidi) Hoskins, Scott (Mandy) Hoskins, John Hoskins, Holly (Matt) Dorlaque, Andrew (Debbie) White, Adam Dicker, Jacob Dicker; treasured great-grandmother of Eli, Lucy, Carys, Lavinia “Livi”, Madeline, MerrileeAnna, and Sammy. Theresa is also survived by her loving cousins Betty Chirco and Rosa Amato.  She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Carmelo and Rosalia Farnese; sisters Benedetta (Anthony) Mannino, Anna (Joseph) LaFata, and Rose (Mario) Mondello.




Theresa was a devout Catholic, who prayed the Rosary daily. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque before moving to O’Fallon where she joined the parish of Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne. Theresa enjoyed shopping and going out to eat where she enjoyed “her glass of wine," and faithfully watched her favorite soap opera, “The Young and the Restless.” She was the Italian version of "Emily Post," and had an unconditional love for her family – they were her greatest love and joy. She was dearly loved and will be remembered as a treasured mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, great aunt, and friend to so many. Her loss will be felt deeply, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
