Stephen Paul Bishop

Stephen Paul Bishop of Wright City, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the age of 65. Cherished son of the late Gordon and Jane Bishop; dear brother of Mark (Dung) Bishop, Nancy Bishop, and Tim Bishop; like a father to Olivia Soule; dear uncle of Maico Viet Bishop, Ana (Stuart) Lloyd-Smith, and great-uncle of Walter Lloyd-Smith; adored nephew of Joanne E. (late Glen) Bishop; and beloved family member to numerous others.

Steve was a country boy and loved living close to nature. He was a big music fan, especially of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. He also enjoyed reading a wide variety of genres. He was talented with his hands and dedicated his career as a carpenter and as a member of Warrenton Carpenter's Local Union. He used this skill to build his own house with his father when he was young and was able to continue to live in it until his death. Steve was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
